WARRIOR CENTRIC HEALTH JOINS FORCES WITH HEALTHCARE LEADERS TO REACH OUR VETERANS IN MARYLAND

Ellicott City, July 5, 2018 – Warrior Centric Health (WCH) has proudly joined forces with Warrior Centric Healthcare Foundation, Drs. Samuel and Ofundem Nokuri, and American Diversity Group as they open Premier Health Express Clinic (PHEC) in Howard County.

By adopting the WCH Solution Suite and proving compliance annually, the Premier Health Express Clinic earns authorization as an Authorized Warrior Centric Health Center™. Premier Health Express is the first clinic in the Nation to receive this distinction.

The Warrior Centric Solution Suite gives healthcare systems, hospitals and clinics a complete set of tools to locate, attract and treat veterans and their families—as much as 25% of the population in the hospitals’ communities. The elements are:

  • Warrior Centric Health® Education & Training – provides healthcare providers essential clinical skills and military cultural knowledge needed to deliver optimal care to service members, veterans and their families. The CME/CE accredited courses and professional credentials are delivered on-demand, making them easily accessible to WCH clients.
  • WarriorMark™ Analytics & Insights – enables healthcare facilities to locate their veteran community and understand their needs—the demographics, as well as social determinants of health, prevalence of particular wounds, injuries and conditions, and more.
  • WarriorComm™ Patient Acquisition Tools – helps healthcare facilities find and develop relationships with the veteran community in a variety of ways.

FIRST IN THE NATION – PREMIER HEALTH EXPRESS IS AN AUTHORIZED WARRIOR CENTRIC HEALTH CENTER™

Located in Columbia Maryland, the Clinic will provide onsite telemedicine to local DC, MD, and VA residents as well as internationally. Patients will have access to x-ray, EKG, and waived fees for laboratory testing. In addition, common generic pharmaceuticals will be dispensed on a cash pay basis furthering the convenience and in many cases the cost effectiveness for the patients.

Premier Health Express will focus on the treatment of acute injury and illness in addition to chronic illness on a six day per week basis. In addition, the clinic will offer mental and behavioral health screening and counseling. Pediatric providers will be on staff each shift to provide specialized care for the most precious of patients. While the Clinic will target DOT, school and sports physicals, minor workers’ compensation injuries, all providers and staff will be Warrior Centric Health credentialed to ensure “white-glove healthcare services” for our United States Veterans on a walk in, referral, or telemedicine basis.

In partnership with the Warrior Centric Healthcare Foundation, the main treatment area will be constructed, dedicated and made veteran centric to honor them. As an adjunct to the Urgent Care, Premier Health Express will be providing telehealth to our Veterans for improved access especially those living far out and have to travel long distances to receive care.

EMERALD FIVE STAR VETERAN SERVICE PLAN

The Premier Health Express Clinic will provide high quality, affordable, and convenient care to all of its patients. In addition, PHEC is proud to offer the Emerald Five Star Veteran Service Plan to honor and support our Veterans. This plan offers Veterans complete care at a 50% discounted rate. This includes telehealth services to enhance access for our Veterans especially those facing transportation, physical or other challenges to obtaining healthcare.

By working with Premier Health Express, Warrior Centric Healthcare Foundation, and the American Diversity Group, Warrior Centric Health has proudly started authorizing our Nation’s health clinics in order to have a broader reach into the under-served Veterans and their families.

We are honored to celebrate with our First in Nation WCH Clinic.
